What is your refund policy?
- Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS for workshops.
- If you cancel with at least 48-hours notice, your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop (within 90 days).
- Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT be granted a credit, however you may pick up your project as a take home kit within 30 days of the missed workshop. Please email or call us to cancel.
- If you do not show up for a workshop for which you have a spot reserved, as well as, neglect to pick up your take home kit within the 30 days, you forfeit your full payment and project.
- Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Can I make more than one project at a workshop?
Because of time constraints and the nature of how our DIY workshops run, we limit each person to one project at a time during a scheduled workshop. We are always adding more dates and workshop projects, so please check back with us often to schedule!

Do I have to pick my project ahead of time?
Yes. Project selection and customization information for your project is required at the time of booking on our on-line registration form. Please be sure to double-check your spelling and information to ensure your project stencil (for wood workshops) and materials will be ready for you at the start of your workshop.

What can I expect when I arrive?
You will want to arrive at the studio or venue at the designated time or a few minutes early. Please check in, grab an apron, and find your seat. The class begins when most, or all, participants have arrived and are ready to create.

What should I do if I am late for a workshop/event?
It is okay to be a few minutes late to your workshop, however any more than 15 minutes, please contact (978) 276-9667 to let the studio know.

Do I have to be crafty or artistic to participate?
Not at all! Our events are designed to work with every creative level and we welcome newbies from all backgrounds. Our instructors provide guided instruction in a relaxed environment. Just bring your DIY attitude and a willingness to learn and you will create a project you will be proud of!

How long does a workshop last & What is the cost of a workshop?
- The length of each workshop depends on the type of workshop scheduled. The typical workshop lasts 2-3 hours.
- Prices for each workshop are based on the type of workshop being offered. Typically, prices range anywhere from $45 to $85 depending on the options you choose.

Can I bring a friend with me if they are not working on a project?
Unfortunately, because of a limited amount of seating and fire code, we are unable to admit any person who has not reserved a spot in our workshop.

How do I make sure I am seated with my friends?
If you are coming with a group of friends, please list who you would like to be seated next to in the "comments section" of the online reservation form.

Can I bring my own snacks or food?
Yes! Please feel free to bring your own snacks or food to any of our workshops.
