Join us Thursday, May 1st at 6pm at Hammer & Stain York County LLC (890 Main St, Suite 205, Sanford ME 04073) for a DIY Home Shutter workshop. Customize your project in studio with your choice of stain, paint, and wreath. The shutter stands 48" tall.

This registration will allow for one person to make one project. Please be sure if you are signing up with others to purchase your registration at the same time or same day!

All outdoor projects must be sealed (Sealer NOT included) to protect from weather, sun, water, etc.

**This workshop lasts approx. 2-2.5 hrs**

How to Register:

1. If coming with registered friends please list who you would like to sit with in the corresponding box

2. Confirm your Order.

**1 Person per project (2 people CANNOT work on the same project)

** Simple substitutions of words within the shown design and layout can generally be made at no additional charge. However, significant changes to our standard designs or special requests for a completely new design are considered custom and must be submitted, via email, and pre-approved at least 7 days prior to the event. If approved, a customization fee of $25 will apply.

** You must email us at: hammerandstainyc@gmail.com if you cannot attend a workshop. If you do not show up for a workshop and do not notify us, you forfeit your payment & project. We only hold projects for up to 30 days - after 30 days you forfeit your payment & project.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS for workshops.
If you cancel with at least 48-hours notice, your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop (within 90 days).
Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT be granted a credit, however you may pick up your project as a take home kit within 30 days of the missed workshop. Please email or call us to cancel.
If you do not show up for a workshop for which you have a spot reserved, as well as, neglect to pick up your take home kit, you forfeit your full payment and project.
Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party.

Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers.

Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

By completing registration you are agreeing to these terms.

Wood

This is a natural wood product, so your sign will have natural blemishes, such as random cracks, chips, and knots that give it character! Some peeling may occur.

We will do our very best to supply as smooth a wood piece as possible, but due to the nature of the material, we can make no guarantees.

Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
